Sunday 11.28.10

Went down to Boston on Sunday and skated with Elliott, Nandez, Pete Moulton, Jimmy Lake and Frankie. It was really nice weather, a sick crew and good times!

Elliott and Nandez in South Boston.

I have been to this spot a bunch over the years but didn't realize it was right next to the Old Colony Housing projects until yesterday. I read a book entitled, "All Souls" by Michael Patrick McDonald that was about growing up in that project and it was super gnarly.

Pete Moulton was shredding.

Pete cruising at the spot.

Saturday 11.27.10

I met up with Forrest Hagerman, Nate Jones, Toebee Parkhurst and a slew of others at the Portland Park on Saturday. There were people from Scion Auto that were giving out money when people landed tricks. It was pretty cool. I had no idea about the Scion people being there in advance but we all managed to get a couple bucks for just skating around that came in handy when we went to the bar after.

Toebee with a Lien Air.

Front Blunt.

Nate Jones with a gap to 5-0.

James Engle, Backside Noseblunt Stall.

The product toss was ridiculous. Look at the grown ass man in the bottom left about to wrestle with a kid over a fuckin t-shirt.

After the park we went to Ruski's. Forrest, PBR and scrambled eggs!

Nate Jones and Toebee.

After Ruskis's I went to Geoff and Siobhan's place. Raz and Siobhan we're chillin in the kitchen while I drank 40's with Bogle.

This is ORCA!!!

Friday 11.26.10

Ran into this scenario on my way to work today. Not sure what was going on.

But all these people had to wait in the rain until they worked that shit out. Bummer of a day to have to deal with it.

When I walked out of work all these people we're waiting for the tree lighting in Monument Square. I hungout for 5 minutes to see what all the fuss was about but couldn't justify staying longer than that. What do you do after the tree instantly lights up? You go home. Wasn't into it.

Thanksgiving

I drove down to my sister's place in Brockton, MA for Thanksgiving dinner. It was a great meal and good times with my family. Hope you all had a great day as well.

The traffic on 93 South was terrible though. It took me forever to get through this.

This truck, however, was pretty fuckin awesome.

Bull Feeney's 11.23.10

Grabbed a couple beers downtown with Tim last night. I don't go to Bull Feeney's much but it's nice to switch up the scene a bit once in awhile.

Tim is chillen. He used to play guitar in a band named "American Nightmare". Check out this video of them playing "Hellfest" in 2002 on YouTube here.

This guy was killin it. He is playing, "Every Rose Has It's Thorn" in this pic and then went on to play "Summer of '69" and "White Wedding". It was so rad!

Saturday Night. Portland, ME. 11.20.10

After I got back from Boston I met Toebee Parkhurst down at Amigo's for beers. This is Toebee and Betsy. Betsy is from Colorado and I have no idea how we ended up hanging out with her. She was cool as shit though.

Luke Mitchell was in town for some PBRRRR'S!

This is Ashley, Michael and Betsy.

Toebee thinkin deep thoughts in Gritty's.

Ashley and Betsy rented a room at the Holiday Inn. This is the view from there room.

They didn't have any booze though so we left and everybody came back to my place. I had one PBR tall can and a bunch of 4Loko and Nightrain, so we drank that. I don't know what's going on in this pic.

But a "Dance-Off" apparently went down. This is Michael and Betsy challenging each other.

Dance off begins to some "Shapeshifters" on the stereo.

Michael makes his move.

Betsy Counters.

I woke up hungover as shit. Nightrain is pretty much the worst thing to drink ever. And we definitely put on "Appetite for Destruction" while drinking it.

Boston 11.20.10

I went down to Boston on Saturday and met up with Elliott and Jimmy Lake. The first spot we went to was a bump over a sidewalk into a street, that was pretty sick. I don't have photos of the spot but it was a pretty big sidewalk so you had to push pretty hard at it. I was trying to Backside Flip it for a bit but we got the boot when I almost Backside Flipped into a passing police cruiser. It was really gnarly. I landed 90 in the street right as the dude gunned his engine by us. He screeched to halt and I looked at him with a, "HOLY SHIT DUDE!" face and he was so pissed/shocked at the scenario he just stammered, "Just get...GET OUTTA HERE!" Haha. It was fucking ridiculous! I remember the cruiser being a foot behind me when I landed in the street. Yikes!

So then we went to a spot in the Dorcester Projects that Jimmy wanted to skate.

This is Elliott chillin with his camera light.

Elliott and Jim at the spot.

It was too dark so we thought it would be a great idea for Jimmy to drive his car into the basketball court and shine his headlights on the spot. Redneck light rig style, ya know? We got away with it for awhile but then some public housing police dude showed up in his cruiser super pissed off and told us undercover drug cops thought we were up to no good and called us in. He threatened to arrest us for parking a car in the basketball court. I really don't think that's an arrestable offense but I'm stoked it didn't happen.

Here's Elliott and Jim skating the spot with car headlights on it.

Geoff & Siobhan's Surprise Party 11.19.10

Two of my very good friends Goeff Bogle and Siobhan Brown recently got engaged. Josh Chase and Chrissie Hughes threw them a surprise party at there house in Falmouth and these are some pics from that night. It was a super fun time and whoever made the Artichoke Dip fuckin' knocked it outta the park. So delicious.

Old school Maine skate head Sean Hamlin knocked back some fine bubbly pre-surprise party.

When Siobhan walked into the room with all of us in it she turned around and bailed so fast, haha. This is a photo while we we're standing in the hug line.

Is it just me or does Geoff kinda look Asian in this pic? He was so surprised he turned Asian for a split second while I took this photo.

Chris Litchfield and Phil Taisy were in attendance. I don't know who that dude with the inquisitive eye is on the left hand side.

That's Josh Chase with the beard. He teaches at my former Middle School.

Portland 11.18.10

Frank and Chris came up from Boston and met up with Jay, Max Fenwick and I in Portland. It was a super fun day and we got started really early to make the most of the good weather.

I spotted this Mini-Trampoline on my way to meet up with the fellas. If I had more time I would have asked them If I could have it. It would be sick to have that in my apartment. Would make a cool seat.

This is Jay and Chris. It was 11am and I was hungover as shit. I felt like I hadn't drank water in two days but I was probably drinking a Diet Rockstar and smoking a but when I took this pic, haha.

Frank shredded this rock down by the waterfront.

This is Max Fenwick kickin it in between doing Switch Heelflips in the street.

This Backtail was sick! Frank killin it!

Jay Brown with some ninja style. So fucking rad! I was so stoked on this photo.

Frank shotgunning some top shelf "LaPlaya" beer from Trader Joe's.

Then I cruised up to Topsham to Nate Baxter's abode to help set up some rooms for all our band stuff. He cooked a damn good Sheperds Pie. From L-R, Baxter, G-BO, She-BO and Mike Roy.

Wednesday Nighters.

I had Wednesday and Thursday off this week so it would be uncharacteristic of me not to visit some of Portland's beer serving establishments on Wednesday night.

This is at Amigo's and as you can see Wednesday night does not equal party this time of year.

I was in good company so I didn't care that it was a pretty tame atmosphere. This is Tim and his lovely friend Abby.

Then this guy came over to say hi to Tim so I took there photo.

I remember I put some music on the jukebox at one point and I hope that this random dude playing air guitar and the music I put on the jukebox are related.
