Geoff Bogle_Everyday People

Check out Geoff's part in "Everyday People". Filmed circa 2004. The original audio track had to be replaced due to copyright reasons so that is why you don't hear the skating. The new track is hella tight though.

Party.

I had to stay at work late on Friday night so I decided that I was gonna tie one the fuck down when I got of work. And I'll tell ya, it was off the hook.

We started out at Amigo's as that is basically the only bar we ever drink at.
Jay, Matt and Charlie were in attendance along with the rest of the usual suspects.

We dipped out of Amigo's and headed to a house party on Grant street. But not without stopping by Simple Sandwich first and grabbing beers. I bought a six pack of Schlitz pounders that ran me over ten bucks. This is Labbe climbing shit.

The fellas peeping the footage.

This scaffolding got in the way so the fellas climbed over it.

This is me, Gary and Labbe chillin at the party.

Cironi was shredding.

So was cat.

Me and cat fuckin raged it.

Labbe and cat chilling.

Jay and Ben kickin it.

This next string of photos are rad. I started taking photos and every time someone walked in the room we added them to to the group. It started with Jay and Gary.

Now we have Jay, Gary, Ben and Charlie.

And it jumped off from there.

On Saturday, my homeboy from Boston came up to drink beers and smoke Camel Lights in the Old Port. I was super stoked to see Laybold chilling back up here. This is Laybold and Margo being proper.

But they're not THAT proper.

On Sunday we skated but with everything being wet and such short daylight hours we called it in early. This is Laybold knocking back some Coor's Light and watching Rocky III in my apartment.

Everyday People.

"Everyday People" is a video I filmed and edited back in 2004. It features, to a large extent, my friends that I grew up skating with. I remember making the video was quite a challenge but a rewarding one at that. I had no formal video editing education and I wanted to make the video as good as it could possibly be. I have started to post the video at the quality I want it viewed at. Peep the intro and Forrest Hagerman's part below. The rest of the video will be uploaded over the next couple days at www.youtube.com/everydaypeopleskate.

This is the Intro.

This is Forrest Hagerman's part.

Short Days and Short Films.

The fellas and I filmed a short video this weekend. It was thought up by Matt Seavey and filmed and will be edited by Jay Brown. The video involved suits, skateboards, the foundation spot, a thirty pack of PBR and me - dressed up as a cop. It was super fun being a part of it and I had a blast getting a cop outfit. It looked super legit.

Here's a screenshot from the video by Jay Brown. This is me as an officer of the law.

This is where the video starts. Seavey is chilling in the parking lot and the homies roll up.

The fellas kickin' it in syle.

After the production we ended up at Amigo's. Super fun times.

This is Ty and Charlie. Charlie is my old roommate from when I used to live on Cleeve Street. Ty is Charlie's old high school buddy visiting from Boston.

Ty caught a mean shinner on his way down to the bar.

Skate Plaza.

With the absence of lights at Oceangate and the blown out ground on Federal street I had to find a new spot to skate at night. The photo below is where I post out everynight. The cars that drive by are so confused at the seemingly random choice of a spot for a dude to be skating that they either drive by super fast, or go super slow. I love it down there though. It's my skate plaza, haha.

Dropped some ESNC product off at Re-Session Skateshop today. Super excited to have the brand in there. Re-Session is owned by two local skateboarders who have been around forever and are continually helping out the local scene. Big ups to Gary and Ryan! Stop in the shop at 38 Market St., Portland, ME.

www.esncbrand.com

Started an official site for ESNC. It's still in it's alpha stage of development but it's gonna be rad.

DIY Foundation Spot.

Check out this DIY (Do-It-Yourself) concrete spot in Portland. It's super fun and the fellas did an amazing job building it. It has a huge amount of untapped space as well. Portland has a great public concrete skatepark but the DIY spot is more my style. It's like a party when you hangout there. The homies will be rolling 15 deep with beers in tow just skating and chilling.

Weekend 11.4.11

This weekend was super fun, hope yours was, too. I met up with the fellas at Jay Brown's new spot in Portland and we kicked back a grip a beers before heading down to Amigo's

Spotted this thing on the walk down. It's the "Cyclone". This dude was blasting on it and definitely stoked.

Here we are at Amigo's. From left to right: Matt Seavey, Dave Labbe, Nate Keegan, Jay Brown, Brett Star and Ben Cironi.

Keegan and Matt kickin' it.

Cironi and Jay.

Cironi blew his sweatshirt out doing Nollie Back Heelflips

Jay and Labbe.

These random dudes we're up to some weird shit when we walked out of the bar.

Labbe harassed them.

Alex Winslow with a road soda on Saturday.

Labbe was doing Backside 180 Nosegrinds.

House party at the homie Kelsey's crib on Saturday night. Been awhile since I been to a house party and it was super fun. They evidently have a beer pong table for a kitchen table. I walked in as a game was going down and jumped in while this girl that was playing went out to smoke a butt. I drained two out of three after putting back 8 beers and not having played beer pong in years. Was pretty stoked. My teammate had a Pogues shirt on, too. Which I was SUPER hyped on. If you've never heard of The Pogues check out the vid below. They sing songs that are the soundtrack to drinking binges and pub crawls.

Jay found a playing card with a breast on it.
Jay found another playing card with a breast on it.

Labbe got an idea.

Seavey ran with it.

Tony Le Alternate Mixed Effect Edit.

Tony's part in MIXED EFFECT was ILL as shit! My friend skated the rawest spots with complete reckless abandon.

Peep this alternate edit of his video part HERE.
