Marketing ad.

If you live in the Portland, ME area you might have seen this ad floating around. It's a marketing filler I designed for the Press Herald. I'm stoked on it. I came up with the tag line, too. "Turning Houses into Homes".

Zac's "Going Away Party".

Sunday night at Amigo's was my friend Zac's going away party. He is moving to Seattle to persue a career in underwater welding. The party was super fun with lot's of people I haven't seen in a while showing up to send Zac out properly. Fun times all around.

Here is Jward, Zac and Cousin Luke.

This is Zac after a really long couple hours in Amigo's.

Rosies.

Elliott Vecchia came up from Boston and him and Jay Brown stopped into the Old Port for a couple of beers on Saturday night. I was super stoked to kick it with these guys as I have not seen either of them in a while. Tim was chillin too and it was good times.

This is Elliott and Jay chillin in Rosie's.

Empire.

Saturday night at Empire a couple weeks ago. Fun times with Tim, Scott and Geoff. We were there with a bunch of other people too but I don't have pics of them. Anyway, pretty cool bar. Seems like a place people graduate to after going to Amigo's for a few years.

Stage Fright

"Stage Fright" is a rock n roll band influenced by Rose Tattoo, Motorhead and various other bands with a similar attitude towards music. The idea of starting a rock n roll band began back in 2004 between Nate Baxter and myself. We had attended Mt. Ararat high school together and grew up in the "hardcore" scene seeing bands like Agnostic Front, Blood for Blood, Madball, Death Threat and Hatebreed. At about the same time we both started listening to music that was more along the lines of street punk and classic rock and decided we wanted to start a rock n roll band. It wasn't until 2008 that we finally formed a solid lineup and began playing out live. We played shows as far north as Bowdoinham, ME and as far south as Lowell, MA and after a year long hiatus we got back together for our first practice last night. It was a super fun time and we're looking forward to playing out again in the near future.

Geoff Bogle handles lead vocalist duties.

Nate Baxter plays lead guitar.

Joey Cousins holds down the drums.

And I play bass. This is my bass rig/beer holder.
Check out a couple Mp3's from our early days as a band here.

Saturday Amigo's.

Saturday night at Amigo's. Love it. It's like walking into the "Cheers" bar because lots of people you know and dig are kicking it and drinking beers, too. By far my favorite spot in Portland to bend the elbow. My friend once lit a bottle rocket off inside the bar and didn't get in trouble.

Took a picture of the Miller High Life mobile on way downtown. I have also seen a PBR adorned one around town as well. Are these common in other cities or is it just Portland that gets the scummed out rides?

Raz chugging a beer as Eli and Geoff observe.

Jward loves America and America loves Jward. He has been my good friend for many years and has almost gotten me killed and arrested many times over those years. Now that, is fuckin AMERICA!

Very lovely couple here. Siobhan and Geoff get intimate for Visual Find.

Siobhan and Bethany kickin it.
