NEW ESNC Colorways.

I'm really stoked on how these came out. The screenprinter did a great job in reproducing what I had in mind for color tones. Peep them on the ESNC blog here.

Saturday 04.02.11

I was up until 4am drinking PBR with Jay Brown on Friday so getting up the next day proved to be an arduous task. But I got up and since I was too hungover to skate or do anything I decided to hit the highway and visit my ole stomping grounds in Lowell, MA. Ever since I watched "The Fighter" I started really missing Lowell and it was great to be back, if only for the day. My plan was to stop by Eastern Boarder and then kick it with my friend Tony Le. I dropped off 50 copies of Mixed Effect and talked with my friend Earl who manages the Nashua, NH Eastern Boarder and also has a wheel company named Bloodmobile with EB Co-manager Brian Fiske. Check out Bloodmobile here. Earl told me they were playing Mixed Effect earlier in the day in the shop, too! I was so stoked to here that.

Back in the cut. Cruising in Lowell.

On my way to Nashua I drove by these big metal things. I think they look pretty rad.

So metal.

This is a pretty nice looking river. As far as rivers go, I guess. So I took some pics of it.
This is on my way to meet up with Tony and his girlfriend Michelle. They cooked a great dinner and I was stoked.

Back in Portland, ME the Orca dog was tired from chilling so hard. Geoff Bogle and I headed down to Amigo's and had some beers with a bunch of the Portland skate heads and it was super fun times.

Then we hit up the Big Easy and kicked it for awhile. There was an older lady who kept her iPhone in her bra. She would like pull it out, text someone, then stuff it back in. Pretty random. This is a pretty sweet tag in the bathroom of the Big Easy. I hope it wasn't commissioned and that someone actually painted that illegally.

April 1st.

My morning commute on Friday, April 1st. Was not stoked on this. At least most of it has already melted though.

Maine Labor Mural.

I designed this ad today for a group of people appealing Gov. LePage's decision to have a mural removed from the Dept. of Labor in Augusta, ME. I'm really pleased with how it turned out utilizing a vintage design and screening the mural in the background.
I was especially pleased with the cause this ad was backing because I fully support labor unions and the rights of common workers - because I am one. I pay dues to the PNG (Portland Newspaper Guild). This ad runs Sunday in the Maine Sunday Telegram.
